Sir Dragon
Word came to us on the very last day of MDRF 2008 that we'd lost our good friend and castmember, Ron Santos who played Captain Fernando Cristobal de Mendoza at the festival but was known as Sir Dragon to us.
Ron had been battling cancer for quite a while but I don't remember ever seeing him without a smile on his face, despite the pain he was in. He was a great performer and teacher of all things 16th century nautical and one of the very friendliest street performers ever to walk Revel Grove.
