Sir Black Fox
Having been knighted by HRH King Henry VIII in 2005, Sir Black Fox (Steve) started out his MDRF fascination as merely "The Black Fox" or just "Fox" in 2000. For that season (2000) and the next (2001), Steve's love of the festival grew and before his third season (2002) started, he'd devoted a part of Black Fox Designs, his graphics company, to The Maryland Renaissance Festival and opened a Yahoo Group called "Friends of MDRF." It grew to more than a few pages the next season (2003).
Enjoying website creations, Steve bought "www.friendsofmdr.org" in early 2004 and set up a bulletin board. Because of Steve's devotion to MDRF, our little group has become the oldest and largest group of MDRF friends on the web and we celebrate our 8th season in 2009.
