The Black Fox's Twenty Questions 1. How Long Have You Been in Revel Grove? Ack, er, ummm since 1987, you do the math. 2. What's Your Favorite MDRF Show? It's a tie between the Rogues and the Pyrates Royale though Wolgemut is coming up in the ranks. 3. What's Your Favorite Foodstuff & Drynk? Chocolate covered banana and raspberry smoothie. 4. What's Your Favorite PubSing song? Wild Mountain Thyme, unfortunately I haven't been to a pub sing since MDRF started putting the Rogues opposite them. *sniffle* 5. What's Your Favorite MDRF Memory? I was sitting at the White Hart in torrential rain and there were very few paytrons because the rain had driven/kept them home. The Pyrates, Gypsophilia and some of the other musicians started a jam session/ sing along at my table that was just beautiful. Sigh! 6. What's Your Favorite Game at MDRF? Well, that would be the new food oriented games. The object is to sit in the audience with your friends and enjoy your food of choice while attending a select performance. *snicker* 7. Who performs your favorite MDRF Music? See # 2 above. 8. What's your assessment of security at MDRF? It depends on which part of the grounds you are talking about. A little more presence at the pubs wouldn't hurt. Generally they do their jobs well, though there have been a few that have gotten lost on their power trips. 9. What's the longest time you've ever spent in the parking lot in gridlock after the day's show was over? About 5 CD's worth. 10. Have you ever been Wenched, Rogued, or Kilt-checked? No. 11. How Long Is Your Faire Day? Generally about 11-12 hours. 12. Ever been completey trashed at MDRF? No, I don't drink. 13. Why Do You Like MDRF over Other Faires? Unfortunately I haven't actually made it to any other faires. *hangs head in shame* I hope to fix that in the next year or two. 14. What Do You Like at other Faires that MDRF doesn't have? Dunno yet. I have heard of a new fangled invention that they call flush toilets that sound like a good idea. Alternatively they could install more out houses. 15. How important is being historically accurate at MDRF? It's very important for the performers, but not as much for the paytrons. Sometimes I get a kick out of what the paytrons come up with. It would be nice to see more people in accurate garb. I really enjoy seeing a well put together outfit. 16. What Vendor is missing at MDRF? I can't really think of any. 17. Who's Your Favorite Vendor at MDRF? Sandscrafters. 18. What annoys you most about MDRF? The emphasis placed on drinking and the obnoxious drunks that should have been cut off 4 beers ago. I suspect that policies and attitudes won't change till someone dies of alcohol poisoning or kills someone and the faire gets sued. 19. What's The One Thing You'd Change About MDRF? I'd put some shade in the Sahara, AKA Market Stage. 20. Who's Your Favorite MDRF Cast Character? Jack Rackham. |
