The Black Fox's Twenty Questions 1. How Long Have You Been in Revel Grove? 2006 will be my 8th season. 2. What's Your Favorite MDRF Show? I watch shows? How exciting, I didn't know that. I do like to listen to the Pyrates whilst I sit upon my bench. 3. What's Your Favorite Foodstuff & Drynk? Oooh, so many options. I like the macaroni and cheese on a stick, and I like the peasant bread (with cinammon and sugar). When the weather gets cooler soup (clam chowder) in a bread bowl is a good option. To drynk, I have to say I'm a lager kinda gal. 4. What's Your Favorite PubSing song? Wild Mountain Thyme & The Boatman. 5. What's Your Favorite MDRF Memory? While I've had some great times at MDRF my favorite memory is the first time I went to Faire. It was just such an eye-opening experience to discover that there could be such a place. 6. What's Your Favorite Game at MDRF? Does people watching count as a game? How about lager consumption? 7. Who performs your favorite MDRF Music? That depends on my mood. I really like the Pyrates Royale, Wolgemut, and the Rogues. 8. What's your assessment of security at MDRF? The kids in whatever color t-shirts are pretty much like kinds in whatever color t-shirts everywhere, they work as much as they have to, but don't have much experience. The "undercover" cops that hold up trees, frequently near the White Hart are pretty good. 9. What's the longest time you've ever spent in the parking lot in gridlock after the day's show was over? Hmmm, I think we generally hang out with friends until the traffic has cleared so we donÕt really sit in gridlock. 10. Have you ever been Wenched, Rogued, or Kilt-checked? No thank you. 11. How Long Is Your Faire Day? Getting longer by the season. 2004 was probably about 12:00 Š whenever we had closed faire, said our fare thee wells, and gone with the crowd of the moment to get dinner. 12. Ever been completey trashed at MDRF? Not completely. 13. Why Do You Like MDRF over Other Faires? It's home. It was the first faire I ever went to and my friends are there. It feels comfortable and since I'm there all the time I don't feel pressure to make sure I "do" the whole faire. So I can just relax and enjoy. 14. What Do You Like at other Faires that MDRF doesn't have? XXX Answer to go here. XXX 15. How important is being historically accurate at MDRF? For cast, I think that it's a very important aspect of the faire. For the rest of us, I think it's cool to make some effort, but certainly not necessary. I like the personal challenge of trying to be historically accurate and trying to know the history to support it, but I don't think that historical accuracy is really what any of us are there for. 16. What Vendor is missing at MDRF? I don't really shop at faire. 17. Who's Your Favorite Vendor at MDRF? Uhhh, I don't really shop at faire. I do like Moresca, Bullseye, and the House of Musical Traditions. 18. What annoys you most about MDRF? Towards the end of the season when there are so many people there. I don't like it when it gets so crowded that you can't actually walk through the grounds but have to go into avoidance mode to get from one place to another. But I suppose that it's better for the faire that way.. sigh! 19. What's The One Thing You'd Change About MDRF? I'd put in more pleasant shady benches! 20. Who's Your Favorite MDRF Cast Character? XXX Answer to go here. XXX |
