The Black Fox's Twenty Questions 1. How Long Have You Been in Revel Grove? Long enough to know better! About 15-16 years! 2. What's Your Favorite MDRF Show? This might get me in trouble... but I love Hack and Slash! But then again, I learned stage combat from Sir Nigel Hack and Zack Rackham. (Zack at the time was Charles Brandon) 3. What's Your Favorite Foodstuff & Drynk? Almost everyday I eat a Renaissance Wrap. They're filling and not at a bad price. And a lovely cider quenches a heroe's thirst at the end of the day! 4. What's Your Favorite PubSing song? Leave Her Johnny- Leave her. Don't ever get to hear it that often anymore though. 5. What's Your Favorite MDRF Memory? Do I have to pick 1? How about... my first year working there. (I was a Dunk the Punk kid in the tank when the dunking tank was by the lyric stage) I would sit on the paddle and Miss Bliss Goodbody would walk by backstage and throw grapes to me. 6. What's Your Favorite Game at MDRF? Taking a ride on the King's log.... oh, wait... now I know why that line sounds so bad! 7. Who performs your favorite MDRF Music? Pyrates Royale! Par Excellance! And they like to play with the actors too... but be careful, They will Bite! 8. What's your assessment of security at MDRF? Never had a problem with security. They might need to be a bit older though. 9. What's the longest time you've ever spent in the parking lot in gridlock after the day's show was over? Over an hour, several years ago. I got fed up oin waiting so went back into the village and a bunch of us ate fire outside the costume house. 10. Have you ever been Wenched, Rogued, or Kilt-checked? yes... and that's all I have to say about that. 11. How Long Is Your Faire Day? From before opening till after closing! 12. Ever been completey trashed at MDRF? Does after hours parties count? If so... then OMG YES!!!!! I used to drink a bottle of Jagermeister with a squire of the joust (Behind the joust) after hours... but somehow, I always made my way back to my tent. 13. Why Do You Like MDRF over Other Faires? The terrain of the village, the professionalism of the cast, the variety of vendors and their shops, not to mention, it's my home Festival. (And as Hamish said, I'm under contractual obligations to say that, "You mean there are other festivals?" 14. What Do You Like at other Faires that MDRF doesn't have? I like Festivals that have a major parade of the cast and assorted others that wanders the entire festival site. 15. How important is being historically accurate at MDRF? It has it's place and it doesn't. I think what needs to be is... and what doesn't need to be isn't... it's a great mix... something for everyone. 16. What Vendor is missing at MDRF? The vendor that sells the Harry Potter wands... "Wingardium Levioso!!!!" 17. Who's Your Favorite Vendor at MDRF? If we ever get off our butts and get some t-shirts made... I'd say Fight School is my favorite vendor! 18. What annoys you most about MDRF? Is there something that is supposed to annoy me? 19. What's The One Thing You'd Change About MDRF? I leave this type of questions to those that know what they're doing!!!! (Management) I trust that they will make the correct decisions... and as long as I get to be a part of it... I'll be happy with what is done. 20. Who's Your Favorite MDRF Cast Character? Dash Rippington... of course!!! |
